Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in at Ringbane House Hotel. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in. A valid, signed, and pre-approved credit card in the name of the guest registration is also required.

Please report any damages or special cleaning requirements immediately and before you check-out, to avoid any extra charges and misunderstandings.

No smoking Policy
Ringbane Hotel operates a strict No Smoking policy.
As of July 1st 2007, smoking in any public place is against the law.
This also includes Bed and Breakfast rooms that have been designated non smoking rooms. As we are a completely non-smoking establishment all of our rooms and public areas are designated non- smoking and are registered with the local council as so.
As proprietors we are responsible for upholding these laws in our establishment and are liable for a fine of up to £2500 if anyone is found to be or has been smoking in any of our rooms.
So as of July 1st 2007, we the proprietors hold the right if we find any evidence or believe that any of our guests have been smoking in any of our rooms (this includes smell of cigarettes in rooms or cigarette butts found outside bedroom windows) to add £100 to the bill for the expense to us for loss of earnings, the dry cleaning of curtains, bedding, and carpet cleaning, etc. If the guest is part way through a stay they will be asked to leave the premises with no refund being given.
This statement is due notice of these charges and no discussion will be entered into on this matter. This smoking policy forms part of our terms and conditions and is covered by the legally binding contract you are agreeing to enter into by booking accommodation with us. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to the card without any additional consent being required.
Please remember this is not just the accommodation provider’s policy - this is the LAW and we would be quite within our rights to contact the local police and the guest would be liable for a fine of up to a £1000 for smoking in a designated non smoking room which is classed as a public place by law.
So if you intend to smoke a sneaky cigarette out of the bedroom window please do not book a room at Ringbane Hotel as we have zero tolerance on this matter.
A cigarette bin has been provided outside the main entrance for our smoking guests.
It is not allowed to bring food and beverage from outside in the hotel.
If you have any suggestion on hotel service or if you have any technical problem in your room, please be free to inform us at your earliest convenience. In case of late notice for any complaints that you might have, when hotel has no chance to react, those situations will not be considered as a reason for accommodation rate discount.
Guests may have visitors in their rooms which must be registered at the reception. Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. Visits are allowed until 8 pm and in case of extended visit (after 8 pm), hotel will charge additional amount of £30 per room per night, as a supplement for the next guest.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact hotel staff immediately by phone or in person. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in halls.
Candle, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine accessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. Ringbane House Hotel reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit /debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Ringbane House Hotel as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT: Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
INFESTATION: The cleanliness of our rooms is extremely important to our guests. If you bring any infestation into your room or onto our hotel premises, we may charge you for any and all costs and expenses, including immediate or urgent response requirements and loss of room revenue, that we deem necessary to address the infestation.
Disturbing other Guests is not allowed. Hotel keeps the right to refuse further hospitality to the Guest who disturbs other Guests or on other way disrespects House Rules.
In case of cancellation of further Guest stay by the Hotel caused by misbehaviour and disrespect of Hotel Rules, Hotel reserves the right to charge for full length of stay as per reservation.
We assume that the Guests are familiarised and fully understand the Hotel Rules and Policy at the beginning of their stay in our Hotel.
